What is the Back 2 School Rally?
The Back 2 School Rally began in 2008 and is a local effort to meet the needs of children and teachers in the local school systems of Watauga. It is a HUGE undertaking that provides approximately 1,000 backpacks filled with school supplies for local elementary students. This effort is coordinated with other local churches and community partners. It takes eight months to plan and prepare, but it culminates in a fun rally the August before school starts.
When is it?
This year's Back 2 School Rally is on August 6th with three event times (registration for each event begins 30 minutes prior with a limit of 250 people per event, there is no preregistration):
10:00 AM | 11:00 AM | 12:00 PM
Where is it?
The event is here at First Baptist Watauga and across the street in the large field.
5660 Watauga Rd. Watauga, TX 76148
Each event includes food, school supplies, a puppet show, vendors, raffles, a firetruck & police car tour, and backpacks!
