At FBC Watauga, we place a high value on your children. We believe God's word is relevant even to them. Therefore, it is our intent to help your children grow in and learn God's word in a manner applicable to their age. As a parent, we understand that your priority is your child's safety. FBC Watauga provides a loving and safe environment for your children of all ages. Below you will find different areas that your children can connect. As you browse through the ministries, we are certain that you will find something that your child will love!

Sunday evenings from 6-7 p.m. (during our adult discipleship classes) your child can participate in a fun, energetic children's choir experience known as "WataNoise." WataNoise is for children ages 3 years old through 6th grade. We separate the kids into two age groups, 3yrs - K and 1st-6th grades. Both groups practice music weekly which is performed twice a year (at the end of the spring semester and the fall semester). If you would like for your child to participate, feel free to bring them to the CSC (upstairs) on a Sunday evening. Contact the church office for more information about when children's choir is in session.

VBS is an exciting time, every year, at FBC Watauga. This year’s theme is “Colossal Coaster World.” Vacation Bible school is a great opportunity for children, K-6th grade, to learn about the Bible, worship, and the Christian life through classes, games, crafts, music and many other fun activities.

Although AWANA does not meet during the summer, we still have a place for your child to connect. High Power Soccer is a great time for your child to hear God’s word, fellowship with other kids, and get some energy out! Your child will want to be part of this exciting opportunity.
Dates: May 1st – 29th on Wednesday Nights at 6:45-8:00 p.m.

Each year, FBC Watauga takes your children to Riverbend Encampment Retreat in Glenrose, Tx for Pre-Teen Camp. Pre-Teen camp is for children who have completed grades 3rd – 6th. The cost is $185 per camper. Make sure your child is able to attend!

AWANA provides the foundation of our children’s ministry. Every Wednesday night, during the school year, children fill the church with excitement as they come together to learn about the love of Christ. Wednesday’s are filled with learning scripture, games and activities, music, and a relevant Bible lesson.
